Day Zero of Umang’26: Registrations Open
The season of college fests has finally begun. And Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics is back with its annual flagship event: Umang 2026.
On August 1, the fest announced its theme for the year: “Outbreak Day Zero”. With a horror-themed announcement, the Umang social media page kicked off with the intriguing theme.
Returning for its 27th edition this year, Umang is expected to bring together 10,000+ attendees, 2,000+ participants, and 200+ colleges to its campus. From PROshows to celebrity interactions, interactive workshops and a diverse lineup spanning music, contemporary arts, fine arts, dance, dramatics, gaming, sports, literary arts and business events, the fest is slated to have something waiting around every corner.
This year, the fest shall also have events in a gaming lounge (featuring PS5s, an F1 simulator and PC games, for all the tech bros). In addition, the organisers have added cafeteria stalls, photobooths, interactive creative installations, flashmobs and a glow-in-the-dark Fine Arts exhibit for students to enjoy.
And, of course, the music at the fest is all set to match the vibe, with artists like Amit Trivedi, Vishal Dadlani, Dhvani Bhanushali, Neeti Mohan, Zaeden and many more taking the stage.
