Mithibai College’s Kshitij, relaunched in 2007, has become a Mumbai juggernaut staged on the JVPD Ground at Juhu. 50-plus events across eight departments, the 7-km ‘Green Run’ and past ProNites with Farhan Akhtar headline.

History & Origin:

Started 2007 (relaunch after 5-year sabbatical). Kshitij = horizon (Sanskrit/Hindi) — same root as IIT KGP’s Kshitij. ‘The sky meets the sea’. Different from IIT KGP’s Kshitij. Mithibai is SVKM’s flagship college (sister institute to NMIMS/NMCC). First college fest to introduce ‘Para Events’ for specially-abled.
